Located in our Lenapehoking (Manhattan) Community Center, the Urban Indigenous Wellness Room is an intentionally curated, grounding space co-designed with Indigenous therapists, artists, and community members.

Features include:
Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Cost: Currently, all therapy sessions are offered at no cost through grant-supported funding.
Insurance: UIC is in the credentialing process for Medicaid, Medicare, and select private insurance plans as part of our service expansion. Once approved, these options will be available to support sustainability and continued community care.

This Pride season, we center the brilliance, survival, and futurity of Two-Spirit, Queer, and Trans Indigenous people.
From powwow circles to ballroom runways, INDIGIPRIDE 2026: Ballroom Pow Wow brings together Indigenous tradition and Ballroom culture in a shared practice of resistance, joy, and collective care. We honor the ancestors who danced before us, the Houses and communities that built refuge and family in hostile cities, and the culture bearers who continue to move us forward, fierce, unapologetic, and alive.
