By Urban Indigenous Collective
Urban Indigenous Collective (UIC) is honored to offer direct mental health and wellness services to our community through the Urban Indigenous Wellness Program.
Services are available to community members who are enrolled in UIC’s programs.
Healing at Urban Indigenous Collective begins with right relationship to self, to one another, to Spirit, and to the land. Our approach is rooted in Indigenous knowledge systems that understand wellness as balance across the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realms.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we focus on restoring right relationship healing that is collective, relational, and guided by community wisdom. Every service, from therapy to circle, is grounded in the understanding that when we heal ourselves, we heal the land, and the land in turn heals us.
Our model integrates:
Through this approach, UIC weaves together modern clinical practice and traditional knowledge, creating a living model of care where culture is medicine and healing is a shared act of ancestral remembrance and resurgence.

This Pride season, we center the brilliance, survival, and futurity of Two-Spirit, Queer, and Trans Indigenous people.
From powwow circles to ballroom runways, INDIGIPRIDE 2026: Ballroom Pow Wow brings together Indigenous tradition and Ballroom culture in a shared practice of resistance, joy, and collective care. We honor the ancestors who danced before us, the Houses and communities that built refuge and family in hostile cities, and the culture bearers who continue to move us forward, fierce, unapologetic, and alive.
