Volunteering with UIC is a way to live our values of kinship, reciprocity, and collective care in action. Whether you are Indigenous or an ally, volunteering offers a pathway to support our mission of improving access to culturally rooted health, wellness, and community programs in Lenapehoking and beyond.
Volunteer opportunities are available to both Indigenous and Allied Members of UIC.

All volunteers are required to complete UIC’s Volunteer Training, which provides grounding in:
This training ensures every volunteer enters our spaces with respect, readiness, and cultural awareness.

Once enrolled, you’ll be notified of upcoming opportunities based on your interests and availability.
UIC offers internships and field placements through our Mentorship & Training programs.
These opportunities prepare the next generation of Indigenous leaders, healers, researchers, and advocates through community-based and clinical training experiences.
