Join us at UIC at our Community Center, a space for all Indigenous-identifying people who are living in, or visiting, the tri-state area. At the community center you can drop-in for programming, utilize our space for coworking and schedule a time to meet with our office manager. Our community space offers amenities that are free for everyone to use. This includes three computers and a printer that you book a time to use. We also provide a kitchenette that includes a microwave, hotplate and a coffee maker. Enjoy a warm cup of native owned tea while you co-work with kin.

We recognize that mental health is a cornerstone of overall well-being, and it's vital to address the distinct mental health needs of Urban Natives in a way that honors their cultural background.
Our center is developing a behavioral health program to support the mental health of our community. More details coming soon!
We offer a three-monitor computer lab, five iPads with free Wi-Fi access, and printing facilities. Additionally, we have a dedicated lounge area for co-working and a functional kitchen that can be utilized by the community.
Need some fuel for your coworking session? Our center provides access to a kitchenette, complete with a microwave, hotplate, and a coffee maker. Check out our virtual bulletin board (above the kitchenette) and community fliers while you warm up some food, and enjoy a cup of native-owned tea!
Talking circles provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to gather and engage in open and respectful dialogue. These circles encourage active listening, empathy, and the sharing of personal experiences.
